How do I fix English text that is too small?

Check the wording, widen the text box within the bubble and adjust line breaks before increasing the font size. Review the border margins and neighboring artwork; do not enlarge all text by the same amount.

Practical review

Fix the lettering, not just the font size

Translation, cleanup and typesetting are separate things to inspect. A correct sentence can still be hard to read if its box is too narrow, and a clean bubble can still contain incorrect wording. Use the completed image editor for the final pass.

Check the sentence before adjusting layout

Select the text region and correct its wording first. Then set a suitable width and font size. Shortening the sentence only to make it fit can remove meaning; compare it with the source before deleting words.

Keep margins around the text

Move and resize the text box so letters do not touch the bubble outline or tail. Use line breaks to keep phrases together. Review small text at a readable zoom and avoid a single long line that crosses into another panel.

Inspect cleanup on textured backgrounds

Flat white bubbles are simpler than gradients, hatching or text drawn over faces. The editor adjusts lettering; it is not a full image-retouching tool. If source fragments or damaged artwork remain, do not assume changing fonts will repair them.
